The jackass should still be on postal.

Postal??? So he could of just ridden suport for Armstrong, and not won? Or Postal where he could of not been in the Giro at all instead of getting 2nd? It would be cool to see him still riding on the same team as Lance, but he is obviously a good enough rider to be a team leader, so he made the right decision.

The more North Americans out there on European teams and winning is good for the sport. Hamilton has ridden unbelievably well this spring starting with Paris-Nice till now. The man deserved a major win after the disappointments of last year. Should he be on Postal? Well he has proven himself to be a team leader. Look at what happened to ONCE last year when they did'nt have a one real defined team leader until Beloki got it by default. Would you rather have a winning Postal with Lance at the helm or a sub-par team with him and Tyler?

Maybe he will help produce a interesting tour. It would be nice to see two americans on the podium in Paris.

It would be evn neater if Armstrong were upset by Hamilton and had to take second.

Good performance of Hamilton thanks to a fierce attack at the last hill.

...And he gave lots of credit to his team. Tyler's a class act.

Personally I would like to see Lance take 6 TDF's. It would re-ignite the bike boom that seems to have fizzled the past 2-3 years. I would settle for an all North American podium though.

Last year Tyler raced almost the entire Giro D'talia with a broken shoulder (scapula I think) and still finished second. That just shows you how tough he really is. To be able to subdue that pain and concentrate for that long on racing shows that he is posessed by the biking gods and is at a higher place than most will ever be. Go Tyler!! Go Lance!! This is going to be one great Tour!!

I won't see the race down here (we won't even see the Paris-Roubaix until May) but I am sure there are plenty of people who might tape the race and were planning on watching it later that day/night/week. Please do not put SPOILERS in the topic heading. Simply put "Liege Bastogne Liege results" in the heading and chat away.

CHEERS.

Class Act is right. He gave credit to everybody, directeur sportif Bjarne Riis , US Postal years , Lance, and so on.

I think the most exciting race i followed on live cyclingnews this year. I was thinking this is great when Lance, Sanches, and Schefer took off, and it got better when CSC closed the gap, but when Tyler took the flyer I lost it and the wife and kid called the cops.

But the real heroes are Nicki Sorensen and Carlos Sastre for chasing down the Armstrong break. As Tyler says CSC had the strongest team.
