Texas - White rock creek trail connection to Plano

Anyone know of a connector that will take me from the southern trail head of the Chisolm trail in Plano (at 15th street) to the tip northern trail head of the White Rock Creek trail?

Found out today that we are moving our offices to the Hi-5 Hell and I need a commuter path. I might end up taking the train part of the way.

There's no direct trail connection, at least not yet - but it's in the long term plans.

For surface streets, Alma, Custer and Independence/Waterview/Floyd are your best (relatively) low traffic, or you could hit Ohio/Meandering Way which has a parallel path that starts at Frankford and goes to US75 @ Maham.

Take Alma south til you hit the Renner bike path. Take that to just east of Campbell and Coit (on Campbell). The bike path isn't very direct, and there are a few shortcuts through UTD and using Lookout Rd which are just as safe. When you are nearing Coit, take Mimosa south to Melrose. Melrose becomes La Manga west of Coit. Turn right on Melrose (west) and then south on Meandering Way. Take that down to a right Peyton and you'll hit the whiterock trail.
