Road Cycling - Hi from Toronto!

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I would like too buy a road bike, i'm 6.0 feet tall and i would like to know what size i should buy for me,and if you have any tips about road bikes which one do you think is better (under $1500) i appreciate.Tank you very much from Toronto Canada.

A $1500CAD (w. tax) budget will probably get you an entry level road bike. That means I wouldn't recommend you visit La Bicicletta (www.labicicletta.com) because their bikes are very high end, or Racer Sportif for that matter either.
What I do recommend is you make a trip someday to the Yonge and Eglinton area (I got to school there heh). There are three good bike shops around that area.
I recommend you first go north on Yonge, past Eglinton and visit Sporting Life Bikes and Boards. They have a very good selection of entry level to mid range road bikes. I think they'll even measure you up/size you for free (see if you can get Kevin, one of the managers to do it).
Also make sure to check out Cyclepath and Sportswap...which are south of Eglinton. They don't have as good a selection but it's worht a shot. Also check out Skiis and Biikes (Don Mills and Eglinton / www.skiisandbiikes.com).
After visiting these bike stores and talking to the people there, you'll know more about road bikes and have a better idea of what's available locally than whatever anyone will post here :D

If you live in the more northern end, visit Bayview Cycle at Cummer and Bayview (www.bayviewcycle.com) which carries mainly Trek bikes but is always willing to help make you a good deal or visit Bike Depot at Yonge and Steeles, who carries Specialized and Bianchi road bikes. There is also Silent Sports at Yonge and Doncaster (just north of steeles) who carries quite a few brands of road bikes. Any of the stores that me or Kenneth have told you about are ALL reputable stores in the city and are ALL well known for great service and quality product.
