Road Cycling - Group rides - Toronto

Being a newbie to road cycling, I've been riding the past few months by myself. It's great, but I'd like to try out riding in a group :) I mean, chasing the few rare road bikers that I see on the road isn't cutting it.

So I'm asking you Torontonian road cyclists if you know or are in any road cycling club/group that would welcome a 19 year old beginner cyclist who is in 'okay' shape to your rides on the weekends (or even weekdays!)

I promise not to cause any of you to crash...all those hours on the rollers should stop me from doing that :D

Check with Racer Sportif on Bloor St. West, or Bicycle Specialities. The Donut ride is very popular (at least it was a few months ago)!!

cyclepath has a lot of locations and they have groups going out.

they have different days and all types of rides for different riders.. i think the membership is about 800 riders altogether.. if you are into big rides the ride to ottawa should be on soon.. i don't think they did niagara yet either.. check them out

p.s. if you are not sure what level you are at.. go with the tourist.. tho you are probably the advanced tourist rides of 80 km or more.. they also have mtn biking, spinning , blading and ice skating and skiing in the winter.. group rides into the states and up to the muskokas(really nice riding) and hiking in the fall.
