Why? I told a kid (in his bikecheck thread for his ti Grim Reaper, in which he said he wasn't worried about it breaking, and then linked to a video of himself never getting more than half a foot in the air) that he'll never break it because he never gets more than 6" out of anything.

Apparently, that is "flaming".

And to imagine that I thought the rules here were heavily enforced; ****'s absolutely ridiculous, moreso because it's the truth.

Well, he is that frame's intended demographic after all... too much money for their own good, and don't ride hard at all. I think they had a lot of problems with people flaming in the bike checks, so they're strict in there.

Bikeguide is only good to talk to people who work for compines(like Nuno at Ody). As far as real content for normal riders...it sucks.

Actually, I walk faster on crutches than most people run. Seriously. I'm super fast on crutches.

Until you fall
I've only fallen a few times... but only from fooling around on them. I never fell on the floor, just landed on my broken leg, which hurts... a lot.

I fell on my broken wrist so many times this summer cause I would go to the plaza to skate cause I couldn't ride. It sucked but luckely I didn't make anything worse.

I don't think I made anything worse, although I probably did when I first broke my leg and immediately got up and tried to walk.

I heard the loud crack, even though my ipod. I got to the hospital and they were like "omg your leg is really messed up". And then they proceeded to give me many, many shots of morphine that did nothing. I felt proud though. I left the hospital that day with the current record of the most shots of morphine. :)

Gah!

FitRider 921
01-08-07, 04:27 PM
I did it trying a hop manual at mach five.

I didn't get home, I called my mother, and I hopped my loose and dangling appendage into my car and took my car to the hospital. The bumps were killer and I bled all over the car. It took like 25 minutes to get to the hospital.

Yeah, it sucked. It still sucks. I still can't put any pressure at all on my leg. It was the worst pain I've ever experienced in my life, and I know I will never be in that much pain again. I had to beg for vicodin, that's how bad it was. And oh yeah, the hop manual was going down a hill, and that was the first time I ever tried it down a hill.

It was down a hill. I had to hop over a curb to get to it.
