I bought an eastern wheel that came with an 11 tooth freewheel. I have a 28 tooth sprocket. I thought that it would be easy to find a 9 or 10 tooth freewheel, but i guess i was wrong. Will this freewheel fit onto my eastern wheel? http://www.danscomp.com/461095.php?cat=PARTS ....This is my wheel http://www.vitalbmx.com/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=shop.flypage&product_id=372&category_id=14&manufacturer_id=0&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=41 only I have an 11 tooth freewheel. Are there cheap solutions and woould the poverty freewheel fit?

It's an 11t cassette... and you have the wrong size sprocket for the reccomended gearing ratios. It should by 28-10... not 11. I do not know if that cog would fit, and I wouldn't reccomend it anyway because Poverty parts suck.

That wheel sucks aswell, eastern hub on a SINGLE walled rim

Yes, precisely. You'd bang that up pretty quick. From what I hear, Eastern cassettes suck as well.

freewheels wont work with a cassette hub, you're looking for a driver. and I dont know of any drivers compatable with the eastern cassette.

I reccomend looking into an Odyssey cassette wheel...

I need a cog not a driver. The wheel came with a 12 tooth and an 11 tooth cog. The gear ratios arent that bad. I just need something like the poverty cog but im not sure if it works.

Is it possible to change the rear wheel into a front wheel. Then i could buy a new rear wheel with the correct sized driver

Don't you already have a front wheel? What are you going to do, manual around everywhere?

Haha. Well, to answer his question, you would have to completely take out the hub, taking the whole wheel apart, and hoping that the spokes aren't too messed up. Then, you'd have to buy a new hub (one for the front) and get it laced to that... although the spokes might not (more like probably not) even match the hub.

Obviously im not going to manual around everywhere. Yes i have a front wheel but its a little banged up. If i was able to change the rear wheel (which is in good shape) to a front wheel then i could buy a new rear wheel. The new rear wheel would have the right driver/cog/freewheel on it so that i would have the right gear ratios with my 28T sprocket.

I have a semi-new rear wheel with the wrong cog on it and i cant seem to find the right sized cog.

How'd you get a wrong-sized cog in the first place? Just bought the wrong things? You could just true your front wheel.

The guy told me that it was a 10 tooth cog on the wheel and after i used it i realized that it wasnt. What do you mean by true the front wheel?

Bring your front wheel to a shop and tell them to true it... it will probably cost around $15 and if done right, it should fix up your wheel.
