Forum Suggestions & User Assistance - How do I put an animated link in my sig? Is this even allowed?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I've been unsuccessfully trying to install an animated link in my sig, but all I get is the html text string. Do I need additional brackets or something, or is this function not available?

I'm an html novice, but here's the code I was told to use, and it's not working (see sig below):

<a href="http://zoobomb.net/minibikewinter"><img src="http://www.zoobomb.net/logos/winter2007animation.gif"></a>

Thanks for any assistance y'all can provide.

Got this from someone local, works fine!

so I took a look at bikeforums, and they do have HTML disabled in their signatures... instead, try this code:

that should do the trick
