Fifty Plus (50+) - Helmet Head

It's high summer here. I went for a ride, a long ride. That evening, my girlfriend says: "What's wrong with your head?" Then she starts to giggle. There's a red diamond at the front. Then a pair of stipes a bit further back and off to each side. I've been sunburned through the holes in my helmet :eek:

Now you just have to remember to put sun screen on your head too. Either that or grow your hair longer.

I'm envious of your season. Glad you got a chance to get out and ride enough to get sunburned.

That's why I wear a cycling cap under the helmet . . . no helmet 'tattoo!'
