Anybody have any experience with this wheel? Reviews seem good but wondering why they are so much cheaper than Crossrocs. Must be some reason.
They're solid wheels.. they are Mavic's afterall. I've been riding mine with some tough urban assault as well as cross country and they've held up great. Not even so much as a wobble. Mine are on XT disc hubs.. bought them at Jensen for like 240 bucks... good wheelset. I weigh about 140 and I'm pretty smooth if that makes any difference to you.

Rim ONLY?????
That's my guess as to difference in price!

Thanks Jim, good to hear from someone who's had experience with them. They are 215 at Jenson now. Seemed like a great price for UST disc wheels. Another thing I like about them was that they are 32 hole. Easier to find hubs for than the 24 hole Crossrocs and Crossmax's.
Yeah, you'll be happy with them. I've beat the piss out of them.. they were deffinitely worth what I paid. They're a bit on the heavy side, but that's the downfall of UST wheels I guess.

Tubeless rocks, by the way. Make sure to buy some sealant from stan's no tubes... that stuff makes this system completely bomb proof.

I know about tubeless. I've had Crossroc's for 3 yrs. now. That's why I'd like to stick with tubeless. I've been down a couple times with wheel problems and want a spare set. Plus I switch tires a lot and would like to have two sets ready to go. Thanks again for the reply.

Just placed the order. I knew they were backordered but I'm in no hurry. Just wanted to get on the list. Probably a long list by now. Pretty good deal.
