My friend saw my brompton last week. He really wanted one, but found it too pricey. I told him there was the mercbike which was made in taiwan, but to my knowledge was only sold in the UK? His dad goes to Taiwan several times a year. Would any of you guys know where to buy it exactly and how much? I'd probably get one as well.

Look for a post on the Flamingo (or something like that). I think Rafael posted it. There was a link to the Taiwanese firm that produces the Merc.
