This is pretty funny. I called him that a few times as I was cheering.

1) Link is broken in your post. Should be: http://caliradocyclist.blogspot.com/2007/01/lloyd-flandis-ready-to-win-2007-tour-de.html
2) The article is not that great. I rate it a "meh" on my scale of "this sucks" to "awesome"
I think Floyd is looking to 2008, assuming he wins his case.... The entire "process" may run into July. There was an article about this on eurosport.com.

No.
No way...Disco picked up Basso. That should say alot...plus Levi as a mule to help him.
Nope, this litigation is going to drag out far too long as to keep him from joining the Tour. Plus, he doesn't even have a team to ride with.
So, nope, no win for him. Nor will he even ride in it. But next year he'll sign with Discovery. hehe!
Landis won't ever ride the tour again.
Hasn't he just had a hip replacement? He'll be able to be a great club rider but his professional career is over.
he won't race again at a professional level.

I don't see Landis racing professionally again.

Supposedly the new hip is even stronger, so theoretically that will make him a better professional rider.
This year is going to be Valverde and than Brajkovič in 2008 :D

Replacement hips are never as good as a normal healthy hip. I had a friend many years ago who got a hip replacement... Although I suppose the technology would be a lot better now than 10 years ago, so you're maybe right :)
She had a whole list of simple thing that she couldn't do like pivot on that leg etc. Things that you and I take for granted.

He didn't get a replacement. He had it resurfaced.
Floyd Landis - 3 Month Hip Update
January 11th, 2007
Brent W. Kay, M.D.
Floyd has now passed the 3 month mark following his Birmingham hip resurfacing. He has regained full strength, power and range of motion and is completely pain free. His one leg power tests now show that the new hip is actually stronger than the other side. With normal length restored to his femur and the elimination of his chronic pain, Floyd is riding uninhibited for the first time in nearly 4 years.

Not with all those illegal drugs burning inside him.

Yes, and he will do it on team CSC.
No. especially since he has certified to French authorities that he will not participate in any race on French soil in 2007, in particular the Tour de France.

Landis won't ever ride the tour again.
Thank God for that! That sorry unrepentant cheat is a disgrace to pro-cycling -- and that's saying something considering the current state of the sport...
