So last night I am out riding the neighborhood with my 7 year old daughter and 2 4 year old sons (and my 2 year old daughter in the burley), my daughter is leading our little bike convoy (everyone had lights) and what is it that I see my daughter doing? She is signaling her turns! Just from seeing me do it so many times! So I say "way to signal your turn!" to which she responds "What? I did signal!", I then had to explain that for once I was not being sarcastic and meant that as an attagirl. :)

Way to go! :)

Good job! I bet she'll be posting on BF in no time!
Fantastic, Paul! I like to take my daughter riding to Stone Mountain and back home again, not far (6 miles round trip,) but the main thing is seeing her enjoying the ride.
:)
We did an 18 miler a few weeks back but she really enjoys the 10 milers more. Her brothers don't quite have the discipline yet to ride out on the roads outside our neighborhood but she does just fine.

Enjoy it. But be warned, they become teenagers and can forget everything.

I thought you never forget how to ride a bike.
For once, I proved you wrong, ILTB!

Oh they won't forget how to ride a bike. Let me know if they still follow all your good guidance and aim to please you when they turn 14 or so.

I got my wild thing goin' when I was 12. Must be late bloomers. :)
Hey, you don't have to be a teenager. When a coworker who always asked me questions about how to do things (and still does) became my supervisor, I felt like a rebellious teenager all over again.
But I'm good. :)
