Don't get me wrong, the winter can be a great time of the year. I'm having a lot of fun snowboarding and skiing lately. But today I found myself daydreaming about the upcoming summer. I miss biking and being out in the woods on my bike and the warm temperatures. I'm trying to line up a nice job for the summer. My parents are lending me one of their cars, so I'll actually be able to go places when I want to. Hopefully it'll be a good time...

I just have to make it through one tough semester of school and snow.

Hmmmm, kinda reminds me of the new episode of South Park. I should bury myself in a snowbank and freeze myself, then when the snow melts in spring, I'll wake up and I won't have to wait for months for warmer weather.

I've had the wintertime blues since November.

I freakin' hate winter. I look forward to 12/22. I start watchin' the paper for the sunrise/sunset times, and revel in the fact that the days are slowly, but oh-so-slowly gettin' longer. I know it's not a big change by day at this point, but it's more of a psychological thing. I don't like winter. I love sunshine and summer. :)

Winter? It hasn't even dropped below 50 during the day here. I think it may have gotten down to 30 once or twice at night. This is the warmest, dryest winter I have ever experienced. I'm still riding in shorts for Pete's sake!

Hey, mistah, it's only 37F here right now. Assuming no major rainshowers tomorrow, I'm getting my tire changed out, and then ridin' like the wind for about 30 miles. In cycling shorts. :D

I think it is interesting what happens in the winter. I think a lot of the winter "blues" are possibly quite normal. It's really cold here right now. It isn't supposed to break freezing until sometime next week. It's funny because our normally robust 9 month old puppy has finally decided to say "screw it."

He just lays around and would be perfectly fine to sleep all day. He spent the entire morning sleeping in a bunch of pillows on the bed, and has finally managed to walk downstairs and curl up in a bean bag. Seems sort of normal for things to slow down in winter.

It is pretty cold, maybe I should not go outside commando with only shorts on? right Taerom?

I have to at least put on a wife beater and a t-shirt.

Hey, I don't care what you hippies in San Fran do or how you dress. Just don't show up commando in the U.P. and expect to get a 'warm' welcome...

What I don't like about Winter in going to work in the dark and when I get home there isn't any time to do anything in the yard before it's dark again.:(

As I sit here now, I can see the different angle of sunlight coming through the window. I know the days are getting longer. Every day in the paper, I'm seeing the sun set just a minute later. And, heh, heh, that will soon add up to extra miles. :D

Winter is slowly on the wane.

Stacey

Question: If the days get longer, how come there's still only 24 hours in them. I need like a 28 - 30 hour day!

I love the winter. Great time to go hunting and camping. It would also be a great time to go snow mobiling if I had one.

Yeah, I think winter is easier when one has some outdoor activities that are enjoyable.

One could, oh I dunno, continue to ride in the winter. I live in friggin Canada and I'm still riding.

I'd have to agree that I like winter, if snow is involved. Camping in the middle of no where in the snow is so much fun. Snow fights. Build iqloos, snowboarding. Good times. Defrosting purple toes sucks though.

Some like it hot, some likes it cold. Give me 70 - 75 degrees all year round and I'll be happy. Without moving out of PA. :)
