Is anyone out there still using sampson stratics cranks? I am currently using a set and am getting a lot of flex out of them. Anybody else having this problem?

Be very careful. I will never sell or recommend Sampson cranks.
Years back I snapped 3 cranks before I talked to them at Interbike. It was a waste. I didn't want another pair but for them to redesign them.
I weigh 120 lbs or less many times. Luckily all three times I didn't get hurt. With my luck they all broke crusing around.
If I were you I would think twice about riding on them.

Get rid of those pecies of crap now. Mine broke while I was standing going up a slight hill at speed. It wasn't pretty. They looked cool and like you I bought them. They are junk. I am speaking from experience here. Save your self some pain and medical expense. Go back to the standard crankset.

Thanks for the info: I weigh 195# and if I clip in to my pedals and lean against something while sitting still Iwiggle my feet side to side without clipping out ,the cranks flex inward toward the frame by about 4mm. I am thinking about going to shimano 105 hollowteck cranks with the splined bottom bracket. Any info on these will be helpful too! thanks

105's a great, I have used them on my road bike, never had a single complaint about them... :)

105's a great, I have used them on my road bike, never had a single complaint about them... :)
