12- im falling ONTO THE ROAD!
13- helpless feeling , this is going to hurt.
14- SMASH
15- no more cars, no more cars, no more cars I hope.
16- no more cars,, cool.
17- get out of the road
18- my bike, did I hurt my bike.
My last thoughts were of my bike, not the gash in my leg when my shin caught the chainring on the way down and into the road. Even after I got home, I looked over my bike real good for any scratches or bent parts (I scuffed the left shifter and peddle). That was it! Didn't even tare the tape. My bike is fine. So as far as I am concerned, it never happened.
(This did happen on 04/29. I was only a mile from home after about a 1 hour ride. The ride was great!)
My point? My right leg is sore as heck and my arm is all scraped up but when I found out my bike was ok, I was fine with the whole event.
Is this normal to worry about the bike so much? True love?
Anyone else ever notice worrying about your bike more than yourself after a crash?
