Clydesdales/Athenas (200+ lb / 91+ kg) - My new website

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Cool site big guy, like your logo too:D Have you checked in at bikejournal.com yet? There is a clydes team there (if you want to join a team) and is a good place to log your rides even if you don't join a team.
Keep up the good work, you and Tom (Stormcrowe) can probably swap a lot of stories

Andrew... I just read through your website and was blown away! Very impressive.
I hope your San Diego ride is great. Keep us posted on your training.

Good job and cool site; but I must make one quick critique. At the bottom of the main page on your donation link should it be American Society for Bariatric Surgery not American Sociery for Bariatric Surgery. Must be the school teacher in me. I personally cannot spell, but I can always seem to catch anothers misspelling.
That's awesome - congrats!!

Andrew,
Nice site and great story. Congratulations on turning your life around. As for your April trip from AZ to SD, how are you going about this? Are you riding solo?, do you have support?, are you staying in hotels? and are you interested in having any company?
Not that I'm inviting myself but this sounds like the kind of trip I would like to do some day. Please provide a writeup on your trip when you have completed it.
Good luck
Nice design and layout. Where is the Velodome in San Diego? I lived there for 10 years and never heard of such a place.

cohophysh, I do not know the idiot who signed the guestbook with all those harsh comments. I deleted that post and banned him.
Kid-Cycle, my San Diego ride will be a solo ride. It's 400 miles, and I will be doing it in five days. I will be staying at hotels along the way. I will also be bringing my ultra-portable laptop with me. After each night, I will update the San Diego 2007 page with a travelogue of my journey.
(51), the San Diego Velodrome is in Balboa Park. The last weekend in April is the first installment of the 2007 Arizona Track Series. We go to San Diego because there are no velodromes anywhere in Arizona.
