Hello all!
I'm hoping for some good advice here and thought that many may have the information.
I'm 6'3" 190 having been off my bike for roughly 5 months due to a knee injury. I'm now clear to start basemiles and will likely be ramping up to full activity (intervals, weights) over the next 8 weeks. Last spring, prior to my first season of racing I was 165, I think that the low 170s is a good weight for me. Admittedly it's slightly underweight, but that's just my build...I guess you have to take my word for it.
Anyhow, I'm looking now for diet tracking software. I would ideally like something that will sync with PalmOS so I have access to entering data (as easlily as possible) on my Treo. I would also like some sort of desktop interface. It doesn't need fancy exercise logging, as I use SportTracks for that and have been very happy with it. I just need a large database of foods and the ability to record favorite meals. For example, I don't want to have to put in my breakfast (the same one every day) manually each time: separate oatmeal, milk, banana, etc. I'm looking for a reduction of about 400 kcal a day to move 20 lbs from feb1 to june1, roughly a pound a week, so some food budgeting functionality would be helpful.
Overall, I guess I just want to hear what software diet tracking software packages are out there and what people are using.
Thanks in advance!!!
