I am having issues with my MSN blog. It has trouble displaying on of all things, Internet Explorer. I have been going round and round with MSN Spaces support. I've checked it with oth3r computers, and had other people check it.
Here's the problem:
1) My links list and header displays, but the content is blank when using IE. I have DL'd a fresh clean copy after uninstalling and reinstalled it. My IE isn't an issue. All settings are correct and the problem seems to be regional. In England for example, I have a reader that can read the site, but can't log in to comment with IE, but has to use an alternative browser and some in another area that can't access at all except with an alternative browser. MSN support says the site displays properly and they have no problems. I have sent screenshots of the content blank and they are saying it's impossible!
2) It displays properly in alternative browsers like Firefox and others. No issues there.
3) I scanned the site with the W3C code verification scanner and they found 1652 coding errors, all in the template, which I have no access to other than plugging in modules for the basic template....all precoded. I do understand Microsoft uses a lot of source code that isn't compliant by W3C standard.
I was unaware of the problem as I primarily use Firefox, until I started getting emails from my readers about it, thinking I had closed up shop!
I'm completely out of ideas and am getting stonewalled by MSN. Anyone have any constructive ideas?
ps: Ain't it ridiculous that an MSN site can't be accessed by a Microsoft browser?
