BMX - limited amount of money...what should i buy?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
More likely an Expert-sized bike than Pro-sized one, then, unless you have a frame that's way longer than you need, but whatever.
go with expert sized bars. at 5ft pro might be too big. and if you only grew to 5ft 3in you maybe out of luck. if your parents are tall you may want to grow into pro bars.

it's an older bike and i got from an 18 year old...so i'm guessing he would ride a pro size

my friends have pro bars on his pro xl gt power series and i like the pro size...they might not fit but i think they're comfy
Then go with them. Most pro race bars have a 7.5" rise or more.

The guy that gave you advise has been riding 27yrs. The guy commenting on it is around 15-18yrs old. You do the math.
For the record, MUDE you could be cool...if you got a sence of humor and lightened up. Your like half my age and you stress about everything bro. CALM DOWN, I'm not bothering you unless you annoy me then I'll make a smart ass remark. If your wrong, then I'll call you on it. Grow up lifes to short to be that bitter about everything that YOU don't agree with.

he is talking about a guys wife. thats wrong no matter how you look at it. bs and screwing around aside you never talk about family.
am i correct or can people just talk about yours all day and you laugh?
if someone says somthing truly disrespectful such as makeing fun of someone thats dead then you tell them. its joking around on an internet forum, its not supposed to be that serious. its like the BMX section hazing until you've been here for a month or to, then we stop caring and all get along

I'm stealing this again. You could be a philosopher.

Really, so thats the explination? Makes sence if in a month or so you don't say crap like that. Because that was just wrong. I blew it off, but still you don't talk about family. Just makes the forum look bad with people talking about other guys girlfriends and stuff.

why dont u just buy the crank so u can get clips...

Learn to spin 1st before you clip it. You'll win more often. Thats a HUGE road bike trick. Try rollers without clips and see what happens.
