BMX - limited amount of money...what should i buy?

i'm considering buying one of two things off of ebay...FMF Powermoto bars or FMF 3 piece cranks...what do i need more and i only have a 1-piece crank...which one should i get?

I wouldn't buy either of the two... but you haven't told me any of your needs or anything.

nevermind about the cranks...i would have to buy an FMF square tapered spindle for $70...which sucks...i kinda like my bars but they're Mongoose that i put on my DYNO...and i looked on Dan's Comp and they only have Euro bb in square tapered..and i pretty much only race

no i didnt buy them yet...i was just looking around a little more

Those cranks will go on just about any square tapered BB, like a Shimano or whatever (just $25 for a euro BB). BUT, I had a set of the ISIS ones on my MTB, and they got toasted after 3 months. Very sucky.

6.5 inch rise is SMALL...even for raceing(it is a cruiser bar). If your on a limited buget as I assume you are. Take a look on DANS for some bars like Haro's. Atleast they have a decent rise.

the thing is i'm trying to make my bike lighter and better and i kno a few of my friends who have FMF powermoto bars and i like them...i'm pretty sure they have pros too...also i'm pretty small...what if i get the pro xl?

More likely an Expert-sized bike than Pro-sized one, then, unless you have a frame that's way longer than you need, but whatever.
