Italy isn't Germany.

That's it in a nutshell. However, if Big Jan tests positive (DNA matches), there is going to be much pressure on Italy, and most other countries to respond in like kind.

Whats even more sad than the rampant drug use is that accusation is equal to conviction. Between the actions of the Tour organizers and outlandish words of Mr Pound, I almost feel sorry for even the guilty cyclists. It's odd that in a country like France that is so pro worker, a rider can be denied his 'right to work' on an accusation. For riders like Basso and Ulrich to be off the bike for what could be over a year with out being found guilty of anything is criminal.

+MFing+ Ridiculous it is. I have always and continue to maintain that the "other side" is just as dirty as the athletes' side if not more.

Dirty cyclists demean the sport while abused authority demeans humanity.
