This may be another dumb question but what size MTB bars can you fit into a 26mm stem? They all seem to be 25.4mm or oversized > 30mm? Can you squeeze them in?

This may be another dumb question but what size MTB bars can you fit into a 26mm stem? They all seem to be 25.4mm or oversized > 30mm? Can you squeeze them in?
25.4 = you will need a shim
oversized = no it will not fit

Truth. It's probably easier to find a 25.4 stem than you are thinking.
