Hello,
I'm new to the tri thing; will be doing my first this year. I've been using a Polar S520 over the last couple years for my cycling and running. I have a couple questions regarding its use during swimming and triathlons.
1.) during swimming, do you problems w/ the strap staying in place or the water causing contact problems with your skin, thus leading to faulty readings? if so, what do you do to remedy this?
2.) During a triathlon, if you turn the cycling function on so you can get speed & cadence during the bike leg, is your average speed thrown off because the readings of 0mph during the swim and run legs, or is the software smart enough to filter that out?
Thanks!
