Can anyone recomend whether or not it is worth the extra dough to purchase a Catlike WHISPER over a KOMPACT. I am not even sure of the retail differences since i am shopping on ebay. Any Catlike experiences at all would be useful.

Suggest that you do not buy either of them. Euro codes are less protective then US codes. Get a US one. Cheaper too. Given that I like the whisper, wierder looking.

The KOMPACT was recalled (http://www.cpsc.gov/cpscpub/prerel/prhtml03/03132.html) due to failure to meet CPSC impact standards. But that was a couple of years ago -- don't know what current models do.

RFM
