I have a 27 inch wheel off of a 10 speed that I am putting on a Raleigh. I have already flipped the axle and plan on dishing the wheel. When a wheel has been dished, is it less suited for fixed gear? Is the geometry so thrown that you don't want to be putting that much force into something so off center? I am at the point where I can go either way.
Also, does anyone have a good link to a website for instructions on dishing a wheel? This will be my first attempt.

Thanks for your help.
