Well I could be exagerating with that beautiful and utopian part! :roflmao:
I am a mountain bike rider who is currently searching for a new ride. I haven't owned a bike since '96 when I had to sell my beloved '94 Specialized Stumpjumper M2, so even though I still have occasionally ridden over the last decade, it has been with borrowed or rented bikes. Buying another new, $1200+ mountain bike was simply not financially feasable during that time. I've noticed a lot has changed: some brands now out of business, technology changes, etc. For instance, I had a Manitou 3 fork on my M2, and it was the top of the line elastomer fork in '93(but very flexy), now elastomer forks are non-existent.
I started my own business a few years ago, and now I am more financially able to spend some $$ on a new ride. Although there are limitations to how much, 'cause I bought another 2 wheeled bike of the motorized type last June, an HD Sportster. It would be nice to get some occasional input or advice, or just find some new trails other than the Pa. side of the White Clay Creek preserve which is really off limit to bicycles, Iron Hill, and Middle Run. I'm sure I'll be corresponding with some of you out there, so I'll say 'Thank You in advance' for your help, and I'll be glad to offer my own. 'Til then.......
