Question: Has anyone here ever tried mounting a handlebar bag onto a handlebar extender?

I am thinking of trying to mount the handlebar bag low on the handlebar stem of a BF or even directly onto the frame's head tube.
I have been asking around regarding weight limits and such, but still have not received any answers.
