I hear they are very strong and reliable. Are they up to handling the streets that are not the best? how long do they generally last and how do you get it trued?

You've been blowing up all the boards from here to New York about these wheels.
C'mon, man...what's up?
Well, they are the some of the heaviest wheels to be mounted to a tire. They are less aero than than a 3x 32H build. They are not overly stiff. So, sure, knock yourself out.

i have ridden on the worst streets in some of the ****tiest cities on the east coast with 32 and 36 spoke, cross-laced wheels, and crashed more than once. got hit by a car more than once. the only time a wheel went out of true was the time i drunkenly dropped my bike (and my body, too) down the stairs to my apartment and got me and the bike wedged into the foyer. my conclusion is that a good wheelbuild is worth more than the "most bombproof rims" or crazy aero/carbon/whatever wheels. i'm sure that aerospokes are up to the task, but they're not worth my money. maybe they're worth yours. i don't know.
