they're just standard pp296s with fancy schmancy team logos on them

hah, ok, thanks. Ive got a bid out on some brand new CX-7's. How bout those? I assume they are pretty good, top of the line looks.

These were the top of the line prior to the 396, cx-7 etc.
Its a very good pedal, and at the price its at currently.
its a steal
thats my $.02 worth.

I have been riding the 296's for about 18 months now. Haven't had any problems at all out of them.
