Anyone else thinking about doing some Brevets?

A buddy of mine and I are planning doing a 200k & 300k for sure this year. I joined RMCC in preperation of these rides.

Cool.

I was thinking of doing the Denver 2 Aspen and the Peak 2 Peak/Estes again this summer. I've never done more than a 300k brevet.

I've done the D2A twice and the P2P/E once with RMCC. Expect a really small group to assemble for the 4:00 am start which means there's a lot of opportunity for loneliness all day long. I think it's really good to have a small team or at least a partner to work the draft and mix in some conversation.

Loneliness sucks after several hours, atmo.

I'm doing brevets this year! 200k and 300k minimum, but I think I'll try for the 400k and 600k, too! :) May as well go all out and REALLY try to kill myself on the bike, right?

I just joined RMCC so I could try a brevet this year. Plan on doing one or two of the Populaires in April...
