I guess I at times see what I think is not right by mods but for the most part they have acted correctly.

I am throwing my name in as Ultimate Mod to over rule only when they act and those of you want a reversal. So don't vote for Pedro.......vote for me!

I believe they voted in a new labor union that promised a 200% increase in last year's salary. You do have to pay a $25 annual fee however to join the union. And last year's mods got paid on average a sarly of $0.00.

Yes............but usually I am the reason they dissappear. Nature of my job. They usually resurface when they are in their 70's!:D

How do mods get picked..................by the site owner in a secret PM to ask if you will serve? Or do you give contributions like any political party and get the nod and the purple star? I want a green star!

On the forum I admin, I insta/perma ban all "vote me for moderator" people. We don't have that problem over there anymore. Now, we find the most helpful and active members in a particular forum and usually promote them to moderator. Even if they have a history of being a bit of a PITA (as long as they've recanted)

That's such an ugly word, and yet people use it without thinking. Sad.

Maybe because it's not really that ugly? I've grown up with it on tv and just about everywhere. It's a wonderful slang word that perfectly describes a specific action that has absolutely no anti-semitic connotations
