Foo - Any NC folks here going to?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Any NC, SC, TN, VA, GA. or really anyone wanting to do the ride this May in the mountains? I have posted this in the regional section and have to date about 11 takers potential for a weekend of rides with a dinner Saturday night for all of us.
I think BikeWNC is going to help me with this one for the Sat. ride and I will head up the Sun. ride. I will have more details to come on the Southeast Regional site in the coming weeks.
Just e-mail me if interested at:

I'm not an "NC" folk, but depending on which weekend it is I might be up for a ride one of the days. (Unlikely I'd stay overnight.)

I really hated to post here but I see so many neigboring people to NC that I don't see posting on the regional forum that I took it upon myself to add a paste here on it. The Sat. ride will include climbing of maybe 4500 ft. and 53 or so miles.
The Sunday ride................about thirty or so miles with one steep climb to the top of the town of historic Marshall. There was a movie filmed there with James Garner in the 80's I believe.
I am looking at the last weekend in May I hope so there will be warmer weather and away from Mother's Day.
Send me a e-mail and I will add you to the mass mailing list.

As long as I can have a end room and no one complains about the weird noises they hear. I am in!:D

blonduathlongrl's suggestion is intriguing, as I've never been to NH, but a NC ride is much more feasible for me. I haven't done much riding on the east side of the mountains, so it will be nice if this works out.

Interested, msheron, except for two things: don't know until much closer to the date if I'll be around for it, and don't know if I'll be able to keep up by then.... Don't do a lot of climbing in the CLT area.
