i will be out in huntington beach at my parent's second home for a few weeks in march. does anyone know or have a favorite group ride in HB? Also, is there anyone who rents road bikes? I don't have one to ride there except for my dad's flat handlebar road bike...I consider myself a pretty strong cyclist but I dont think I would like to do any group riding without drops.
what are the exact dates? We have tons of rides...
and South Coast Cyclery and Laguna Cyclery both offer high end rentals

nope...its Matt Muney. i think the dates are like march 11-16. so about 5 days.
Sunday (11th) to Friday (16th)
I am pretty sure that we can gather the SoCal crowd for a ride on the 11th, but during the week more people are at work and cannot always attend.

Orange Coast Velo (http://www.ocvelo.com/) have weekday Tues/Thurs morning rides that leave from HB Pier at 6:30am. They head down PCH, up Newport Coast Drive, and back. I think they welcome non-club members to their rides.

There certainly might be by March! Tiff and I were at Surf City Cyclery yesterday talking the owner, Sean, and he definitely has plans to get these group rides going soon. :)
