Can someoen tell em what the term "troll" means when it comes to posting? I mean i hear it all the time but do not really understand what it is thanks?

Troll - someone who says something just to get a knee jerk reaction and attention for themselves.

A troll can also be someone that asks an obvious question to attract attention to themselves. For example, someone who posts the question "What is a troll?":rolleyes: :D

That depends how skilled they are. I've seen any number of unskilled trolls continually going back to their thread trying to stoke the flames because their original post didn't get the replies they wanted.

The best trolls, on the other hand, are true artists. The entertainment value they create on a forum makes them a species worth preserving for all time.

Agreed, its a real art form when performed correctly. However most trolls are just excited 13 year olds who want to fan the flames of stupidity.
