HINSDALE, Ill.

George Hood didn't go to Disney World after riding a stationary bike for an apparent record of 85 hours. He checked into a hospital.

After two days of recovery and lots of fluids and sleep, the 49-year-old Aurora man pronounced himself almost back to normal Monday as he described his bid, still awaiting certification, for a place in the Guinness World Records book.

This has been discussed on just about ALL the forums now ..... and nope, I don't think it is too long. I think it is a great achievement! Personally, I prefer my 1200Ks where I cycle outside for 85-90 hours at a go, but I imagine doing that inside wouldn't be that bad.
