Foo - Vick......thug or not!

Maybe this is not Foo material but belongs on another sub forum but I was watching ESPN and saw where Michael Vick had a run in at the Miami airport about a bottle he had that was suspected of a secret compartment with weed. Later recovered after he refused to give it up and was found to have possibly weed.

Also while going off the field this year he shoots fans the bird...........!

What is up with this cat?! I think he is not the best quarterback and will never win a SB because he is one dimensional........he can't even run anymore because there are faster corners now that can chase him down.

I vote thug and should be cut from Atlanta and no one pick him up.

Well I for one think pot should be legalized, even though I don't touch the stuff. Alcohol is every bit as bad or worse in a lot of ways and its legal only because its been a part of main stream society for a long time. And hemp has a lot of industrial uses as well (for instance it makes a great paper and can be re-grown a lot faster than trees). When I mean hemp there are lot of varieties of the plant that don't have the hallucinagenic (sp - no time to hit the dictionary) ingredient that are still banned by law. The whole thing is silly.

Now, having said all that. He's an idiot to do it because a.)it probably affects his athletic performance. He might actually be a good quarterback if he didn't do it. And b.) its lunacy to jeapordize your multi million dollar career over something this trivial. I can see this easily leading to a NFL ban - possibly a full year if its his second offense.

Also - why bother trying to take it through an airport. Dude's a multi-millionare. Why not just ditch it and buy more when you get to where ever you're going? Idiot.

As for Vick. What a dunce. Doesn't he realize what a posse/entourage is for? They are there to take the fall for this stuff. They carry his weed and in exchange get to play PS3 all day long.

He needs to take a lesson from Tank Johnson. Tank's best buddy not only took the brunt of the police raid charges last month, but a few days later took a bullet and died outside a nightclub. That's what the posse is supposed to do (well, not the dying part... that's just sad).

Vick seems more fool than thug. He sounds like a classic case of being young with too much money and not enough sense. Add in a dose of believing one's press clippings, and dumb stunts like this have a way of happening.
