How's that Trek entry-level cruiser tandem? My 10 year old daughter wants us to get one so we can ride together. Looks like fun. Has anyone ridden one?

I purchased a Trek T900 tandem last fall for our first tandem. I liked the Trek aluminum frame, (much lighter bike), and the overall quality of the hardware, which was like my Gary Fisher hybred. I changed out the 1.95 X 26 tires and installed some Bontrager city 1.50 X 26 tires. Lighter, and less resistance, very pleased. I also had my bike shop install the same Bontrager Crow Bar handlebars and replaced the grip shifters again with the same equipment I have in my hybred. I just like the finger/thumb shifters better, and I don't have to re-learn the bike controls. Also, my wife is very short, (4'9"), and the 14.5 rear frame suited my wife's height. We can't wait till spring gets here and we can start riding again. The tandem set-up helps equalize our riding abilities, and she can now join me on some group rides!
The bike has been flawless so far!!!

That looks better to me than the cruiser-style tandem. Looks like we could really do some serious rides on that one. And my little girl is still short, also. Thanks for the tip.
