Just a word-weasel tactic used by some unscrupulous Craigslist sellers to make their bike appear to be an expensive TdF object. I'll bet you anything that it is a Schwinn Le Tour III, hence the wordplay.

Would have been smarter - to an extent - of the seller to write "Schwinn Le Tour De France III."
