Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

On the 24th, at 9:00am, the Senate Trans Committee will hold hearings on the state
of bicycling in Vt.
The listed contact is Sheri Burch @ 802.829.2254 or email sburch@leg.state.vt.us

Some issues that might be discussed:
Safety, Registration of bikes, shoulders, do you ride to work ?, accidents, $$$ saved, etc...

I wont be able to get to Mont-P at that time due to work but I emailed a long letter.

I thought Vermont was among the most bike friendly states in the nation. (Cold, sometimes very intense winters not withstanding)

Do I understand correctly?

Definately the most bike freindly state Ive ever been to !
This is just forward thinking stuff .....Vermont has a few Ped/Bike
orgs. The Senate Trans committee is cool enuff to actually care
about what thier members might have to say about future development of the
state.
The email I recieved asks bicyclers just to show up and you will get your say !!
Pretty neat !! :D
