I am going to be in the San Diego area (La Jolla) over next weekend and am desperately trying to find a place which rents road bikes. I have yet to be able to find any place and was wondering if anyone knew of anything.

I would love to bring my bike but time and money prohibit it.

There used to be a good bike shop in Pacific Beach on Garnett -- about 3 blocks from the ocean on the right. Can't remember the name, but I'm sure they're in the yellow pages. I bought my Univega road bikde there in 1978 for $200, and I am still riding it.
