Anyone else seen this film yet? I went last night, the theater was packed. To say the least, this movie casts a dark and disturbing view on modern world politics, the last century, fascism and catholicism, while at the same time giving at least a glimmer of hope that the human spirit may yet conquer the darkness. Very well done, IMO, and highly recommended. Note for the squeamish - it does include some disturbing graphic violence.

I haven't seen it yet, but will definitely check it out. Also want
to see Children of Men, and a movie that had slipped my attention
last year, The Prestige.

This is NOT the kind of film I like. I went with friends just because i like them. It was very much woth seeing. My wife, also not a fan of this type of thing, LOVED it and wants to see it again. It is very well made The story doesn't follow the obvious path that most American movies do. Curti sand Tricia both give it a thumbs up.
Haven't even heard of it! Yes, I lead a sheltered life :o
Thanks for mentioning it, I've put it on my NF queue. :)

+1 for this movie. One of the best I've seen in a while.
