Name of Ride: Breathless Agony

Location: Redlands, CA
When: Early May
Type: Century+

Number of Riders: 300-400

Route: Organized Century, 114 miles with 12,000'

Rating: 5++

Comments on SAG support and Rest Stops: Support is top notch at rest stops and on the road, had Chuck driving next to me playing "Stairway to Heaven" at the top of Oak Glen:D. Rest stops have the works, only thing that could've been improved on, was the after ride meal.

Comments on the route: This ride is the sh1t, it's a must do, at least once for everybody. My favorite century course in SoCal. I love the cyclocross style climb up Jack Rabbit Trail, the famous Oak Glen climb, and the never ending 30 mile climb up Onyx. I did this in 2005, and it was freaking cold, especially coming down Oak Glen. Even though it's not a race, it's a timed event with posted results, a great century for competitive riders and racers. The Onyx climb has some great views and scenery.
