I give it a 4 only because I think you have to be absolutely perfect to get a 5! But this is close.
SAG is both by bike and car. I've ridden with several folks who were just patrolling a given several mile stretch. Rest stops are pretty well stocked with the usual fare; bananas, bagels, figs. however by the last rest stop, it all looks the same. Would be nice if they changed something.
Boy Scouts offer valet bike holding at some stops!
My chief complaint about food is really about the finish area. Both times when I finished the Century, the food was practically being put away. Now I don't think I'm hugely slow! I've been done by 4pm and there were plenty of riders behind me. After a long day on the road, I just think we should have a bit of time to put the bike away and settle in without having to rush. In that respect, Cool Breeze does a superior job.

Routes are decent, with various options. Century has about 6000+ of climbing including Rock Store. First 50 miles has the bulk of the work. Usually a bit of wind as you go through Camarillo plains. I haven't had any issues with traffic and most of the route is on good streets.

I wanted to do the century, but all the guys I went with only wnated to do the short metric with the most elevetion. It was damp and cloudy all day and I thought it was a great ride. I'm hoping to talk my buddies into the century this year...but who knows.
I will be doing this years century. Come ride with me !
Said it before and will say it again - this is one of the best rides in California - I rate it a 5. Good routes, great support, incredible scenary and road diversity. From the hills of Thousand Oaks to the roads in Hidden Valley, down into Camarillo, the climbs back - it's one of the 5 best in the state!
