East Side Greenway Closure

Looks like the East Side Greenway, between Pell and Catherine , will be closed through the end of February to accomodate some film crew. I presume this is the same film company that will be filming on the Brooklyn Bridge. No idea how that will effect access to the bridge.

There are a number of yellow signs warning that the greenway/esplanade is closed. Then it just dumps cyclists and pedestrians out into South Street traffic.

The TV news this morning said a new Will Smith action movie is filming. Tonight there will be Blackhawk helicopters and all sorts of things around the Brooklyn bridge. Do you ride over the bridge?

No I don't use the bridge on a regular basis. I was just doing my downtown loop (for the first time in some time) and discovered the closure just north of the Seaport. I guess I'll be using some other route for the next month or so.
