I got this Raleigh of England Super Grand Prix at the Local Thrift Store for $13. This photo is after I striped, lubed, and reassembled to test. Note the poor cable routing on the bar-end shifter! I wanted to test ride it before restoring it. It rides very nice on the wheels/tires I stuck on it. The original wheels had bad rims and spokes. The high flange Normandy hubs are in good shape and will have new rims installed. This bike came with 700c wheels. I am always amazed at the stuff that shows up in the thrift stores. Just think, this bike found it's way from England to Alabama! What's even more amazing is the Kenosha bicycle license on the seat tube.
