I think for an Ironman everyone has their own little pet sets for each sport that they like to do 2-5 weeks before the race.
Interested to know what different sets people have out there.
Myself, I've had by best races:
Swimming - last three weeks before race (excluding race week) 20 * 100m FR @ 1.25.
Biking - 2 and 4 weeks before race, 210-220km at Ironman race pace (percieved effort not speed)
Running - 2 or 3 (depending on how I feel) before race, 3 hours easy.
