My wife scored us a couple of tickets to this even and we are going on Sunday.
There's a couple dozen human bodies with the flesh removed, or mostly removed, and the fluids replaced with some sort of resin to keep the tissue from drieing out. I'm not sure what that website shows, but it has been on our local news for weeks now. there is even a human body mounted on a bicycle... too bad no cameras are allowed.
I'm totally digging this and can't wait.
If my browser had image support I'd try to hunt down some cool online images of the exibit.

That is essentially like the original Bodyworlds (and Bodyworlds 2) exhibit that started it all http://www.bodyworlds.com/index.html which I've seen several times. Well worth it.

I saw this exhibition in Frisco

I felt kinda pukey afterwards, but still, it was an amazing exhibit

No cameras allowed?

Sounds like a challenge to me.

Do they allow cellphones?

:D

I almost saw it when I was in Toronto last year - looked interesting --- as they brought a couple of examples in different positions and I saw a couple up close face to face when I was at a Runner's Expo. Weirdest stuff - It doesn't look real - yet you know it's real.

Got a few heebie jeebies though when I looked it - cut mid thigh and set on a stand - as there were little pieces that shredded off .... so you know it was pieces of muscle ... <shudder>

I've taken place in the slaughter of tousands of animals (grew up on a farm plus I hunt) so stuff like this doesn't bother me, after all, it's just meat.
