Classic & Vintage - Scale models

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Anyone collect scale models of old bikes? I've made a start, though all I have so far is a couple of generic die-cast 1:6 models of a high wheeler and a cross-frame 1895er.
This is the newest item I hope to add to my collection--a 12" WWII German soldier figure with a replica Wehrmacht issue bike.

Nice, eh? :)
I have, waiting to be assembled, a 1930s Legnano TdF racer as well as a 70s/80s vintage Motobecane Team Record. The Legnano is metal framed with rubber tires. Someday I'll build them, take pics w/o a background that would reveal scale and see how many retro fans I can turn green.
I've seen models for Schwinn Varsitys and Krates as well but I don't think any maker currently has bikes in the lineup.

I saw in Vegas, at the Venitian, an art shop that had full scale wooden models of highwheelers and other early bikes. Detailed down to individual pieces for the chain links.
