Just letting the Michiganders know of a bike show at Ann Arbor, in April. In case you already knew about the bike show, got any information about how good it is, and is it an annual show?

I'll probably go to it, so keep an eye open for a vertically challenged individual, because that would be me.

I've been to it twice, I'll probably keep going because it's local. It's mainly vintage balloon-tire style bikes. There's always some vintage lightweight content, but not really a lot. I did pass up a good deal on a Paramount track converted for road and I scored a few good lightweight parts, but for a lightweight fanatic the Cronometro swap in Madison and the Veloswap (if it ever returns to Chicago) are much better.

Try it, you might like it!

You had my interest up, but then I saw that it was mainly an "antique and vintage" show. I'd be more interested in a show that had more contemporary bikes with lots of parts and accessories dealers there, etc. I'd probably go to this if it were closer, but it's a bit of a hassle of a drive across town to Ann Arbor from Rochester. :(

Hey, Michiganders, let's go as a group. If it really stinks, we can go up to Ann Arbor to a brewpub (oops, here it's a piepub!). I think we can even find one that does beer and pie!
