Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Tipping the scales at a svelte 49 pounds... And amazon will even ship it free! They gotta be taking a bath on that.

The reviews for this bike are worth it by themselves... I love the one that gloats that he has never lost a race with this bike... :D

Wow. The shipping alone must be about the cost of the bike.
Gotta get one.
He never lost a race because he never entered one.

Now if I'd read that correctly someones gone from a 15lb Trek to a 49lb Dynacraft (whats that?)!
They've got to have won the 'Prick of the year award'.

Nothing like a full suspension bike for $59.99. What a bargain. Most of those reviews seem like they're posted by the same person, and they're all funny :)

...and nothing has fallen off yet!!!
Steel is real (heavy).
However, I doubt the bike weighs 49 lbs. According to the ad copy, that's the shipping weight. Assuming that's accurate for the packaged item, you'd have to subtract off about 10 lbs for the packaging.

See that gap between the fork's crown and the frame itself. That gap is not supposed to be there.
You guys can yuck it it up all you want, but the shipping cost alone is $30 minimum. That means Toys-R-Us are selling bikes for $10.00. You can't buy one tire for $10.00.
Think about that next time you hear about a bicycle manufacturer going out of business - and don't bother asking yourself "Why?".
Made in China, Dudes. Get your government jobs now while they last. That way you can retire early with benefits while your pals who had jobs in the private sector bicycle around looking for aluminum cans.
